For those who find life burdensome on this planet cursed with sin, God offers paradise. Its inhabitants "...shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the food of the snake. They will not hurt nor destroy..." (The Bible, Old Testament, Book of prophet Isaiah, chapter 65, verses 22, 25). And "anything that defiles, or any making an abomination or a lie" (The Bible, New Testament, Revelation, chapter 21, verse 27) will never enter this wonderful dwelling-place.

If some of you, friends, have heaved a deep sigh - paradise is not for me! - I would like to remind you of one robber who was put to death almost two thousand years ago at the same time as Jesus Christ: "And one of the hanged criminals blasphemed Him, saying, If you are Christ, save Yourself and us. But answering, the other rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, since you are in the same condemnation. And we indeed justly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this Man has done nothing amiss. And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you today, you shall be with Me in Paradise" (The Bible, New Testament, Gospel according to Luke, chapter 23, verses 39-42). What, then, is the secret of this man's salvation? Having recognized his sins, he by faith accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and "he who believes on Him is not condemned: For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (The Bible, New Testament, Gospel according to John, chapter 3, verses 18,16).

Memorize His name - "for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (The Bible, New Testament, Acts of Apostles, chapter 4, verse 12).
