Thus the Bible Says

Cellular Connection with God

Do you agree that the mobile telephone connection is very convenient? I don't think that anyone would refuse one if it were free of charge.

But the paradox is that the majority of people almost never use this absolutely free and most perfect kind of mobile connection - prayer - that gives access to God Himself.

The highest heavenly technology makes it possible for the Creator to hear the weakest call of your heart, wherever you are: "Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you" (The Bible, Old Testament, Book of Prophet Jeremiah, chapter 18, verses 10-14). But how can we talk with God and what will we talk about? Not reading from some paper, but with your own words, according to the principle: if something is aching, talk about that. The Heavenly Father appreciates sincerity and not technique, humbleness and not pride.

Here is an example given by Jesus Christ - the Son of God: "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed within himself in this way: God, I thank You that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax-collector. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And standing afar off, the tax-collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but struck on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner! I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself shall be abased, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted" (The Bible, New Testament, Gospel according to Luke, chapter 18, verses 10-14).

And now several remarks at the end. First, remember that prayer is your permission for God to enter into your problem: either spiritual or material. Every man possesses freedom of choice given to him or her by the Creator, while his or her heart is still beating owing to the Holy Spirit: "...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (The Bible, New Testament, 2 Epistle to Corinthians, chapter 3, verses 17). Neither God Himself, who gave this right to men, nor His and our enemy Satan, deprive us of the opportunity of choice. We only get offers: Second, God may not answer your requests if they will cause harm to you or to other people: "You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts" (The Bible, New Testament, the Book of James, chapter 4, verses 3). Don't forget that sometimes even the road to hell may be paved with good intentions. That's why, when you pray, coordinate your desires with God's intentions: "If it is Your will, God." Third, make use of Jesus' advise: "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, - here they talk about obedience to the Son of God, - you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you" (The Bible, New Testament, Gospel according to John, chapter 15, verses 7).

So, my friends, call, that is, pray - God's phone is never busy!
